The nursing station is the heart and soul of nursing care activities in a hospital.
Sotera’s Remote Viewing Display (RVD) allows the clinician to monitor multiple patients in one place. The clinician can view the vital sign values, view: alarms, waveforms, and trends (tabular and graphical), all without disturbing the patients.
Another important feature is the monitoring system’s capability to measure activity, posture and motion related events: A patient fall immediately triggers an alert, notifying the clinician of the event. Patient posture can be displayed on the remote viewing device alongside the vital sign values. Level of activity over time is also displayed (trend view). This allows to correlate vital signs to activity level and posture as well as to detect extended periods of patient immobility (e.g. to help avoid pressure ulcers).
When early detection matters, ViSi Mobile can make the difference.
